Air is the least offensive thing to go through a pvc pipe so I think it'll work just fine.

ya but why? thats a fire waiting to happen. run a fused swithc directly to the green wire on your fan and you can turn it on/off whenever you want.

I need a temporary fix for my Jeep for a little while. Been working a lot of hours and don't have time to wire switches. If I can run one wire in five minutes and it hold up for at least two weeks I'm okay with that. My mechanical fan isn't pulling the air like it should so I need the electric fan to help. So can I run the wire just like the pic?? Same hole?

Safer.....yes. I agree. Faster....no. The time for me to run to the parts store, buy the switch, run the wire to the cab. I might as well put a new fan in. But I can't in my situation. I just need a short term temporary fix.

Yep. This is my luck lately. Last night on the way home my daughter tells me she smelled something burning. Long story short....my blower motor switch shorted out and now I can't turn on the a/c or the heat.

Exactly. I was actually pulled over for them, and I brought that up, and it doesn't matter on color, if no bulbs show you can't get in trouble. At least in KS, don't know about other state laws

Actually in ks red blue and several other colors are illegal to have on while on the street. Parked is fine but not while driving. I know Wichita usually upholds that new rule
