Well I see tons of interesting mods and upgrades done to jeeps so what sort of things have you done? I have a couple that i'll post later.

Heres my solution to the lack of cup holders in older XJ's.
Just a standard water bottle holder for a bike. All switches are usable with no interference. And it beats the plastic one u buy from the dealer. That i'm assuming would break if it was bumped at anything below freezing. Hey and it doesn't look to bad when its holding a drink and its +100F out

i cut a hole in my rear fender well to allow me to shove a hose down my rocker panel and wash out all the salt and sand from the winters in maine

My favorite mod that I've done, is the Power Inverter W/Outlets in the cargo area. I did a write up over on Naxja awhile back, i'll just post picks with a brief summary above them.

Mounted 1,000 Watt Xantrex power inverter, underneath passenger seat.



Plug a standard 3 prong extension cable into one of the outlets and run it under the carpet towards the rear passenger panel in the cargo area



Measure 3 plug outlet to be used



Cut hole in rear passenger cargo area panel



Plug extension cord into the 3 plug outlet, press outlet into the hole (hole was undercut in order to be a snug fit.)







And there ya have it, 3 outlets in the rear cargo area, and still one available under the passenger seat. I'm thinking about doing another outlet in the dash somewhere. I've ran everything from work lights, to grinders, to drills. I also keep a long 3 outlet extension cord under the rear seat for extended range usage.

Myself I just bent back one pin on a relay to allow my high beams and fog lights to stay on together.

did a little custom work to the stock air box to fith the 3.5" K7N pipe and house the round K&N air fliter! its awesome!, draws from behind driver headlight.

Check out the stock fog light! this is some awesom fab. CLEAR fogs! I cut off the stock lens and epoxyed 1/8" clear plastic over the top. then I cut another sheet and epoxyed it to the inside of the corner chrome trim so its a bug and rock sheild for the fog light! double layered, no more cracks!

pretty much these, remote start, flowmaster 40 door/roof speakers and soon tires

I ripped out all floor and roof upholstery! its sweet, I rhino lined the whole floor and my front bumper. the roof looks so clean without it, not too many wires well like 1 total

Which relay? and stock fogs?

I like this idea because I could then install an old bass guitar amp in the back and use it as a sub without buying an amp and sub. Sweet, how much would u say a set up like that costs??

How hard was it to take the roof upholstery, mine is starting to fall apart.

kit the roof headliner is a piece of wood or something.. you have to remove all things mounted to the celing and it slides out
