Looks clean so far dude!! Well the build not the welds lol. Jk man welds are fine. As long as they hold. Hope it holds up on your trip home and keeps the vehicles safe.

Do you hear banjos?
Clay, FWIW, I've found that on the smaller welders, you can get stronger beads if you turn the power up, and the wire speed down. Don't go overboard, but what you want is the welder to "burn" into the material more, but it can't when the thing is constantly spitting wire out. If you back off the line speed some, it will let the welder penetrate the metal better. HTH!! Another thing you may or may not be aware of, flux core set ups require the welds to be cleaned, much like a stick welder does. You will have to chip all of the slag off to see your work.

good tip thanks cos, unfortunately my welder is even cheaper than that lol it has a max and min switch and a speed **** and i believe as my buddy that is a welder told me that he thinks that the speed **** also controls the voltage as well its a pretty basic unit lol, but i did notice that once i set the speed all the way up and on the max switch setting that if i went much slower than i was going that the welds looked much better and looked as if they penetrated much more and more evenly, ive been cleaning each bit of weld a bit better than i have.since this is gonna be seeing much more stress than anything else ive built ive been much more careful and aware with my welds so that i get the best i can, thanks for the tip tho im def gonna keep that in mind for when i get a "real" welder
