home built brush guard

Did you mount it to the factory tow hook attachment points?

I removed the front bumper cover, and bolted it to the frame where ther was an existing hole, Then drilled another one for more strength. I'm not sure I even noticed if it had factory tow hooks! hehe

Looks real good! How thick is that metal plate on the sides and how did you cut it?

It's 1/4" steel. I made a cardboard template, fitted it to the bumper where I wanted it, then cut it with a plasma cutter

I like that. Wonder how strong it is though.

A guy that works around here built one for his WJ too. Made it drom 1.5" square tube. Bolts in with the towhooks. I'll see if I can get a pic posted later tonight...
