well i ran water over the whole thong and no leaks. all joinings are sealed with glue and rtv silicone. or duct tape as you can see.

yea man. id love to see. i went with the plastic gutter pipe. its nice flexable but will take a nice whack from the hammer so i guess its ok

i would like to hear your .02. and yes its through the top left corner of the hood.

I dont see why pay 200-350 bucks for a company bought snorkel when you can build on cheap and have it do the same the thing, thats my theory on building mine.

its functional I will give you that and cheap to replace but its gonna be a pain in the *** when it breaks every time you brush up near a tree. Its ugly as well but thats okay all snorkles are imo. Just dont post ideas like this on there they will be bashed generally. my .02

I support anyone that wants to save money. Now mine has been proven to be beat the hell up haha i understand where u say the gutter might not hold up but then again they old up to the element of mother nature when attached to a house haha. Also i am not too concern how my jeep looks cause it goes where ever i need it too, i am sure he is the same way... i am not looking to be a import tuner car show jeep haha.

im working on a good looking one but it is guna have to get a little warmer before i expoxy resin it together. I dont really want one that bad but i would like to prove that it is possible to make a homemade one that doesnt look like crap. most dont
