there isn't too much in the box (or at least there wasn't on my smittybuilt junk) I just relocated the solenoid under the hood and hardwired the control into the cab. There is still enough cord to go out the window and stand next to the front of the jeep if i need to, but 90% of the time im winching im inside anyways.
Mounted mine right to the front of the battery tray. so it could be close to the battery and the winch and So i could keep my wires short.
just an option.

Nice end result.
May poach some ideas for my redo.
I need to change out from my Warn 8274 to a smaller Ramsey 8000.
Really hate to give up all that cable on the 8274.
Oh well.

I love the way it puts the winch out of harm's way and out of the grille so it doesn't block airflow. And you could actually install the factory bumper over the top if you wanted. Do you have any worries about fender protection with that bumper?

actually funny you should mention that. I was running a stubby bumper for while before and managed to keep the front end out of harms way. and last week on my 2nd wheeling trip with the winch on I managed to pick a line that caused some crunching on the passenger fender and header panel.
but the plan has always been for me to tie that bumper into an exo. so I'm not to worried about it.
but someone else could always just run some tubing or 2"box along the bottom of the header panel and not have to worry about it
Really nice bumper you got there, had made something similar to yours (even the ballistic skull is in the same place!) but I used a 2 x 4 1/4 c channel hoping to leave enough space to fit the winch later on between the inner face of the channel and the motor. I might go a different route and bolt on a skid plate/winch mount to the bumper because I'm always modifying it. Got some ideas off yours, good job there.
