There are headliner fabric that you can purchase for around $20 or so and a spray on headliner adhesive. Make sure the fabric you are buying is long and wide enough to cover the backing board.
You have to take the lights and visors off because they help hold the panel up and also the upper interior panel trims because they help hold the sides up.
Peel the old headliner off, clean off the surface of the backing board of the foamy residue from the old headliner. spray the adhesive and apply the new fabric. What some ppl do to make a custom look is buy whatever fabric you want (camo is very common).
