Very Informative -- interesting timing of your post as I have been thinking of going to tube door on driver side. Any thoughts on tube doors? vs door less?

no you cant. knock them out and use bolts. you just have to have the head welded to the hinge

Mine has the roll pin, and i did mine just short of 7 years ago.

They work great!!!! Stagger the pins in length to make it a little easier to put the doors back on. I made the top pin a bit shorter, and all of them are cut at an angle to help guide them into the hinge on the body. With a stay at home wife for our two boys Busch Light fit my budget pretty good, and tastes about the same as Bud Light.

okay so i have a 2 door cherokee and with how crappy the hinges are to begin with.. will this affect the durability of the hinge? Meaning i that i have no issues with my hinges now. Will i have any in the future after doing this?

2 things
1) get rubber molding from the auto parts store to put on the front lip of the door.. near the hinges.. or put it on the fender... you will scratch the crap out of the door taking it off and putting it back on... been there, not fun

2) if possible (and it is possible) use a dremmel tool to make the cuts with the door in place and then tap the bottom of the hinges off.. more difficult but your door will still line up perfectly.. hard to make happen if you take them off to do this

Good luck to you all!!

Really? I've driven around with no doors on at all and I passed 3 cops. I've passed about 7 -10 cops just the front 2 doors off. Never been pulled over yet.

Yeah I passed atleast 15 cops doorless before I got pulled over! AND they were from all different companies. I passed atleast 5 birdsboro cops before, but this one pulled me over. I think it was because he was older and knew more about the law to be honest. Either that or I passed him once, he checked the law, then i passed him again and he busted me lol. I have to drive by one sometimes 2 police stations on a daily basis to get where i need to go
