Default Glare Shield?

I have two 55 watt KC 57 Series off road lights mounted up on my roof rack. They currently have a clear fluted driving lens and are very bright. The only issue is the light creates glare off the hood no matter how I adjust the lights.

Is there any way to direct the light off the hood by fabbing up a shield of some sort?

Post pics or link me to a writeup, I need some Ideas

Only quick fixes I can think of would be to either attach one of the exterior visors above the windshield, or paint your hood with a flat paint color to eliminate the glare.

you could track down some light hoods/visors like on school bus flashing lights, and mount them upside down... or ones off a motorcycle...

That's a good idea, I may make some of these out of sheet metal and paint them with flat black bedliner....
