Front hitch/winch bumper build
Work in progress. I took a hitch that went to a 1998 S-10 and cut it to 33" and tacked to front. Then took the ends and used them as the plates for a secure weld to the frame. There is enough clearance for a plate for the eventual winch. I will use the stubs for a bull bar and unsure what I'm going to do for the ends right now but will eventually add more. I don't this in about 2 hours at the cost of 0$ since I had the hitch already. My plan is to make a winch that can go in the hitch that can be moved to the front or the back.

Hmm, I have an old hidden hitch from my TJ that I no longer use. This just may be the foundation for a similar project. Thanks for the simple but clever idea.

Worked on the bumper some more. Still have a ways to go but this is the first project that I have ever welded on so taking me some time. Next step will be to put factory corner pieces on and wire up the quick disconnects for the Hitch witch to the front and back.
