Default Front D-ring tab XJ & tow bar brackets

Needed to make something up quickly for front recovery, as I don't have the time/motivation to make a full front bumper right now lol.

Started with a long chunk of 2.25" wide 1/4" plate. It bolts on with 6 bolts, three at the bumper brackets, and three on the underside of the framerail at the swaybar. There are provisions (holes drilled) for three additional bolts, but I'm not worried about it with 6. The bracket is 3 plates (.75") thick where the shackle mounts up. It'll go through a hole I cut out of the stock bumper.

Pics of the tow-bar brackets will come later, still painting 'em.

Thanks. By the way, with this design the only thing I'm concerned with is bending on an angled pull, have you ever had an issue with that?

With my design there are no concerns with bending. I honestly I think it would take unibody damage before bending brackets. Basically use common sense when recovering lol
