Frame Crack please Help

Quote: You need to weld it, then plate over it. When you plate over it make sure you span a minimum of 4" either way. And plug weld it on. If you weld around it, it will just crack there instead. Then you need to tie the driver side frame rail to the passenger side. to keep the bottom of the rail from ripping loose.

This is what will happen if you don't get on that quick! (granted the track bar caused this hole)
^^^ what he said. this is how i fixed mine:

started off like this:

cleaned it all up, cut off the outer parts that were completely cracked off, found a very small crack in the inside part of the rail

made a plate for the inner rail

welded the rail together where the pieces cracked off

PSC street box customized for assist. It's a Delphi box, not Saginaw like the stock one.

i found 2 videos jumping for the guy i bought it from him
does this what case the crack ???? if it is .... why it takes 4 years to shown up?? when he jump the jeep was stock no lift kit no nothing

I would thing that jumping a bunch could contribute to cracking.
