Does it fit in the garage at 7"? If so then I say leave it, if not then I would cut off the minimum that it takes so I can park it in the garage.

7" is way too tall for my taste, but then again i wouldn't have used EMT either so to each their own. just my .02

i say drop it down to round 4 or 5" and it'll look a ton better.

Depends on what terrain your going through. If their is alot of brush I'd say drop it. Otherwise leave it.

id say it looks a little tall but it may be useful if your really gonna load it up with stuff. try it out before you go and cut it.

I like it. Mine sits right about 7, and it can actually hold stiff without fear of it falling out. I knew mine would be taller than average, but it suits my needs and wants perfectly, and i am happy with it (although yours looks much more well put together...)

I had been reading, & had thought about 8" if I do one, I have had roof racks on numerous VW bugs, & Busses, & always hated the short height, especially if you load something too top heavy, I figure a taller side would help a little.
