Cutting fenders / Dremel

yeah would burn them up quick ...go get sawzall or a grinder for the front and a pair of snips for the rear and make small cuts in them and then hammer it up
if you use reinforced disks you should be alright, I've used those to cut welded s.s. sheetmetal, welds are much harder than the actual material being cut btw. The material I was cutting and grinding was much thicker(1/16" min, welds were at least 1.8" thick) than what a fender is and it cut thru it like butter

.Get a 41/2" grinder and a couple cutoff wheels.
Mark two lines. Make top line where you want your fenders to be. Make bottom line about an inch or so lower.
Cut along bottom line. then about every 2-3" make a vertical cut to the top line. Grab a good pair of pliers and fold and bend to top line. should give a nice looking finish.

I would suggest a angle grinder or pneumatic cut off tool if youve got a compressor. both can be had for less than $15 otherwise i used a figsaw on mine but i didnt do the cut and fold i just cut

i scored my fenders with my dremel and then cut them through with a grinder. turned out very nice lol i just wish i would have cut my fronts a bit higher i had some issues a few days ago when my tire met my fender.
