Exactly right. No drilling/cutting just for the top three.

nicely done! I'll be doing some trimming hopefully soon for some TJ flares. This makes me want to get it done even sooner.

Well I finally got this done today. And of course it didn't come out as nice as yours. Do you have a slight gap at the top where you used the 3 stock bolt holes? Also how does your husband cut so damn straight? I am going to clean mine up a little and it should look ok. Lots more room for my 33s on a 3 inch lift. Thanks again for the write up and pics.

It looks awesome!!! It makes a huge difference!

I don't think there's a gap at the top, the sides, yes.

And my husband is just that awesome! Really though, he has a steady hand. What did you use?

You gotta let me know when you move out here, so we can hook up and go to eagle rock! :-)

Do you have pictures of when you did the front? I am trying to do the front like you showed how to do the back and it doesnt seem to be working well. Pinch welds? Are they just little weld lines cuz I dont see any?

The front is not done the same way.

Unfortunately, I didn't take pictures throughout the process with the front, and didn't do a very good write up, but with the front, you're not cutting slits and bending them over. That was just for the back so the body didn't fall apart. The front, you don't have to worry about that. The pinch welds in the back look like this O (roughly about that size too...maybe a little smaller).

Read the thread that I included (for the front) and let me know if you have any questions. Most everybody understood what I did cause they've already done it themselves, but let me know if you don't understand.
