Thats awesome, great work. I have wanted to do that with mine... so many things on the list I don't think I'll get that one done lol

you can, just lift the trans mount an inch or so and it would be, or close too... but you are correct, stock T/case hight won't allow it..

write up on clocking T/case if your interested, time consuming but not "difficult"

Why don't you flip that thing you've made upside down and gain an inch of clearance? Make a tiny little skid to protect the bolt heads.

More progress

The rest of the transfercase skid isnt built yet. its going to be removable with 4 bolts. ran out of wire and steel. Seen i was running low on wire i only ran small welds to hold it together

NOT HAting on your design, but if you were going to make it bulky like the stock one.. how come you just didnt plate it and build of of it?

Not a flat skid...

What you had starting off showed promise... I really thought you were goingto do something pimp by the way you were talking....

Now we are getting somewhere.
Why did you angle it forward ?
If anything rearward would be better.

I was looking at it this way. the jeep move forwards more then backwards. gave it more of a frontward to rear angle to keep it moving if i drop on a obstacle on the trail.

If i angle it to the rear i beleave it would guide the largest thing on the obstacle into my drivetrain
