Question Custom front fenders

Hello people. Im new here, and pretty new to jeepin. I have a 98 XJ and was wondering if anyone has ever fabbed up some custom tube fenders? I am considering doing this to mine, but was wondering how it would look and if anyone had pictures. Thank you! Have fun wheelin.

Thanks for that! That is pretty much what I had in mind, but I was gonna do a baja style fender, and seal up the inside where the plastic used to be with some sheet metal. Oh yeah, I think that guy was you huh? lol... awsome job, wish I had the tools and the knowhow... mine wont look that great... but it will work. Thanks agian! The attachment shows what I hope my finished job will look better then... ha ha.

Actually did a little looking around, found out that Rusty's Offroad has the type of fenders I want, and it'll be easier for me to do with my simple tools... lol. Thanks for your help fella's. Now on to finding a 4.7 stroker motor, and finding more money to fund my build!
