Has anyone built their own engine/ tranny skid? most of the aftermarket ones that are available mount to the lower control arm bolts. I have a long arm front suspension- thus no factory mounts. I have seen some that mount to the uppers, but I am not fond of that design. Anyone mounted to the engine mounts? yeah, maybe a little of a PITA, but has it been done?

 

Why not make your own tabs off the frame where the old lca's used to be and just mount it to your tranny crossmember?

 

I suppose I could do that instead. I was looking for a way to avoid having to rely on a loop that goes around the driveshaft
