Default Comp cut

work in progress still going to build taillights into the armor and maybe build a bumper that ties into the armor. I'm also going to cut out the rockers and weld in sliders

Man im really digging that comp cut. Most I see are just the lower part of the quarter fender. I like how you went all the way up and added a rock/tree slider. It looks bad ***. If I ever comp cut that will be the rout I will take. Thanx for the visual image.

please dont take this the wrong way, but whats the reason to comp cut, and leave the inner fenders? usually its to move the wheel back, but your obviously not doing that.

Post some pics when ya finished, iv been thinking bout doing that but the way the inner fender well and the slider will tie in together is what I'm looking for. I need a 110 volt welder tho. By the way how much clearance did you gain with that cut.

Now flip your springs around and build a traction bar so it doesnt look like a mall crawler

Are you planning on redoing the fender wells or just leaving them? Most cut them out and fab new ones otherwise you get the clearance from the body but not the fender wells.

how far does it push the axle back if you flip the springs?

in going to do the fender wells when i do a 4 link. i just needed more tire clearance for now the 35's were rubbing and i need to take the over load out because it sits about an inch higher in the back so it would have rubbed bad.

Spring flip moves it 6" back so you need a new drive shaft and have to move the fuel tank. New shock mounts and you would have to redo the fender wells.
