Thanx! I may add some small keeper chains to the pins eventually, I did that to a trailer I use to have because they never failed to disappear.

 

Well heres a part of the build I have been putting off, because quite frankly I wasn't sure how to deal with it. When I pinched the sides, the location of the stock gas filler neck was not going to work. So here is the solution I finally came up with. I removed the factory filler neck and moved it up to the top of the bed on the driver side, I know I could have bought a fancy new cap from jegs or summit but Im cheap. I don't have the lines hooked up yet but I do not anticipate any clearance issues. I have a couple of old military jerry cans that I carry when I'm wheelin and with set up refueling on the trail will be a breeze

 

I finished up a few little things I needed to weld and tore the whole thing down for paint tonight.

 

Thanks, ya the tailgate was a pain! Never heard it called "pinched" before??? I'm also trying to get her ready for paint. Lol

 

Well i finished painting every thing and droped the frame in and bolted it up. I still have to cut a couple of pieces of tubing so I can attach the frame to the roll cage.

 

nice build are you going to tie the roll cage in with that tailgate frame

Yes the roll cage is now welded to the cage. It is also attached to the back of the jeep by four 1/2 bolts. I ran two of the bolts thru the leaf spring buckets to strengthen them up.
