Hey Rich, did you wet sand the lenses before you sprayed? Howd you prep the lenses?

 

Yes wet sanded them real good first. Then the black transparent paint. Then clear. The pics don't do them justice. They turned out great and my head and tail light strobes are still very bright.

 

Not to change the subject but 54 here as well, 2nd grandchild coming in December. The biggest problem I have with my Jeeps is keeping my 3 sons out of my garage.

Been following along and I can't wait for the finished product.Awesome build !!!!...Your rig has givin' me an idea for my XJ...Now I can't wait to get my hood repainted and have the the U.S Army Ord.Corp. insignia air brushed on the hood.....once again man AWESOME build !!!

Finished product. Just a couple touch up things that aren't a big deal. Pic doesn't do it justice. And also has really nice head and tail light strobes in it from on of our police cars.
