Wow Rich. i just had to get caught up from pg 6. looking really sweet bro. you guys are doin an awesome job. what are the plans for paint? A murdered look would be ok,but an Army or cammo would look in sane. i even like a cammo with an Army star on the doors.

At any rate... she's looking good.

I thought military but I've seen a lot of the camo or olive colors. We decided to go with a WWII Bomber Plane look. Discription- Distressed metal airbrushed to look like indivdual sheet metal pop riveted, aircraft exhaust coming out the side of the fenders and possibly a Pin-Up on it. With a black stripe on the hood like the Bombers had to dampen the sun glare back then. Had to think of something different and my grandfather who was my hero was a WWII Purple Heart Vet and was at Pearl Harbor during the bombing so I thought this paint job to be a good memorial for him. Will probably letter his info across the tailgate. Thanks for checking in. It keeps the progress moving forward when we get kind words about it. The back glass will have the list of businesses that has been a part of this project as well. Stay tuned. I have pics that I need to load on yet. Thanks again.

Here we had the cut where the works of the tailgate are and recess it back a 1/2 inch or so. That way we can cover the rest of the inside of the tailgate and it will be flush. Wise decision and there was room for this mod without changing the cables. Sweet.
