The nice part about mounting the radio there is that it doesnt obstruct the view. it is above the mirror and doesnt affect it's operation. I live in CA and my cherokee as well as all the rest in our group has them up there. no one has gotten hassled about it yet. the best they could get you for is the mic cable, but honestly after 2 minutes driving, you dont see it anymore. the wipers block your vision as much as the cable

Well I decided I wont be making the antenna mounts just yet. Going to be harder that I though and I need to buy tools first. But if any of you are still interested in the CB mount bracket I am taking orders for them! Thanks guys!

I think 10 would be good for the cb mount. Or 15 or so shipped. I like it better than on the trans tunnel. Especially with roudy passengers

I'd pay 20 for it all if you would supply an extra antenna mount so that I could have one on each tail light... Sounds like a fair price to me.

I could justify $15-20 for the antenna mount, However I would not pay more than $5 for CB mount. A small strip of aluminum or steel at HD is a few dollars an I can drill 4 holes an spay it with some plasti dip I have around the house

Love the creative thinking going on here....My only question is how many sheet metal screws are holding it up to the visor? Don't remember if there are one or two? Do you think it would survive an accident and not rip out easy??
Great utilization on the antenna mount.. really slick!

Depends on how heavy your cb is. Mine really light. There are two screws. It's mounted pretty securely. I yanked on it good and it didn't move at all. Haven't had any issued as of yet with it.
