Default cargo box

After seeing all the rear storage boxes everyone has built it really got me wanting one. So today I went and dug through the garage and I think I found enough to at least get started. Its going to be pretty simple compared to some others on here. Just 2*6's and plywood.

This is what I have so far. Going to try and get some drawers made tomorrow.

I built a similar box as a false floor. Used a cargo liner as the floor and 1" material for the risers.
Drawers are soda crates that slide in.

Yours looks really good. I like the idea of the soda crates. I might have to see if I can find some. What did you cover yours in? Also where did you find the cargo net?

I was able to get one drawer done and pieces cut for the other today before I ran out time. Hopefully I'll get the other done next weekend. Then I just need to find something to cover it all in.

Got a little more done on the box today. Still need to build the other drawer. Also still need to anchor it down to the floor also. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

Your cargo box looks great. I really like the camo covering. Where did you get it from?

Thanks. I'm definitely not a carpenter..... lol. The covering, believe it or not is the stuff they sell to line drawers and cabinets. Friend at work had some left over from redoing his camp trailer. I don't know how long it'll last, just have to wait and see. I do know that it doesn't stick worth a crap so I used some spray adhesive under it. It looks good for now though...lol

The covering is thin carpet, polypropylene. Glued on.
The net is made by Raingler.com and made for the Xj but marketed as SUV cargo net.
Bought from Jeepinoutfitters.com
