cargo area storage ideas?
i recently made a crappy storage box out of some plywood and pieces of 1x10. i used it to seperate my random tools, recovery gear, small parts and random bolts. well that worked but last weekend, the screws ripped out when hauling tires and from my socket set bouncing around back there. so i need some new ideas.
my space will be pretty limited. i had 2 12" subs on the pass side and an onboard air setup on the drivers side. the compressor is just a 2 gallon so its not that big but still.
lets see what you got!
id also like to see how you all can incorporate drawers into the design too

here is mine with the extension piece in(its been floating around the site for a while now)
just get some ball bearing sliders and make drawers and your done!
made he floor out of 1" the supports are 2x6's but i would go 2x8's and like i said add ball bearing sliders to make rolling drawers and use a simple gate latch (the sliding one) and bam done!
btw i carry a ful tool set(like not a store bought one, one i put together myself if something goes wrong) a full recovery kit and camping gear for those justincase moments

Here is mine. Needs gray carpet though. I took 96_XJs original idea and modified it with top instead of front access and cup holders. Both halfs are easily removable.

There's a thread on NAXJA that's many pages long with quite a few ideas on rear storage - with pics.
