Yep but it is a little challenging to remove. I really like it. There are however a few downsides. The biggest one is the bottom half of the bench has to be removed via the factory quick release latch when the second half is installed. This means you have to leave it out of the car or store it on top of the false floor. I really like the access hole at the top though.

I think something like this is exactly what mine needs. I'm getting tired of digging around in my tote for the tools i need amongst all the other stuff in there. Something like these but deeper so the fluids can sit upright, less liquids in the cargo carpet, and it should help hide my stuff from wannabe thieves too. Thanks for the ideas and good job too.

it looks wonderfull im gonna do the same but make mine twice as high and have a shorter piece on the back of the seat that will have a piece that is hinged so that there is enough gap between the two that the seat can be upright with out removing that part

i dont store anything there right now any ways just cause it all shifts around i dont have the carpet in mine anymore so nothing stays still but i did find a const. site around the corner from my house and think i found enough scrap lumber to build the whole thing minus the hinges. gonna go by there in the morning and talk to someone about digging through the pile

Finished!!! Added a front access hole and CUP HOLDERS accessible from the front seat.
The panels dont sit perfectly flat but once any wait is applied to them they do. Tell me what ya think.
Overall

Rear access open

The front half

Front access open (sorry about the pic)

CUP HOLDERS. I hacked the top off those cheap plastic cups and used that to line it. Also there is a piece of scrap screwed to the 2x4 to hold the bottom of the cup from falling through.

Thanks everyone I am glad you guys like it. I just now added some rope pull handles to the back access panel to make it easier to remove. I also tested the cupholders when I was driving today and they work really well but they are not the most convenient thing being behind the seat and all. Overall I am very happy with it.

I must say the cupholders was a stroke of genius on my part. Again thanks for everyones positive comments. I was kind of suprised I finished it so quickly. It took me about 12 hours but it was worth it. it ways about 70 pounds with both pieces.
