I'm looking into doing this to my xj and was wondering if anyone had pics of theirs done already.

hahaha. ya and you leave just the pure red look. i think it would look pretty clean on an xj.

Yeah, I want to do that with my XJ. It's red after all. I think it would look better than tinting them.

It wasn't a "how to" or anything(thank god), but I seen someone on here who did this & used Testors paint. I don't think it was a spray can(if that exists), because I could see streaks. I wouldn't mind doing it if there's a cleaner looking way of doing it.

testors candy red paint from any hobby shop will get u the results u want
and yes it comes in a spray can

i think it would look awesome candied and then a light misted tint. so itll look like a deep cherry. but ya you just need to sand them down, then slowly mist on a candy red spray paint (my friend said you can get it at any hobby shop) and then finish with a clear coat.

hahaha wow same post in a minute. ya i know how to do it i just want to see pictures of it finished. especially if there was one done to the early model of cherokee
