Nope. These are thin sheet metal and hooks will rip right out . Get a hitch from a jy, they make solid tow points.

 

I wouldnt attach hooks on those. They are a light gage metal. In a pinch you could probably wrap a chain loosely thru bolth of them, and hook the chain to a strap, But no garentee's! specially if you are really stuck.

Most people would say you want a bracket that goes allong the fram rail where a trailer hitch generally mounts. or just get a trailer hitch and use that.

I used a mount on my truck that bolts to the factory bumper mounts, and trailer hitch mounts. If you run a search you will see allot of people mounting stout bumpers this way. Then you can put a solid pull point on the bumper.

 

Please don't use a chain. And what everyone else said, just get a hitch.
