Default C-Rok Reinforcement with Homebrew front bumper

I'm in the process of building a front bumper for my 98'.

My first question is what size material should I make the bumpuer out of.

2nd Is there a way to keep my c-rok kit with the tie' ins?I'm worried about the bolts not being long enough,

3/16th" would be the best thickness. Not sure about the C-Rok though, sorry.

x2 on the 3/16"

if your worried about the length of the bolts, get longer bolts.
