Default Bumper thickness

Ok so a friend of mine is building me front and rear bumpers. The front is similar to the one on the top right of the screen. What thickness plate should he use so its not too heavy but can still be pulled on?

one guy recently did 1/8th but i would suggest 3/16th thats the most common bumper thickness and extra piece of mind is never a bad thing, also as far as weight goes i could pick mine up with one hand when it was done so didnt add much weight to the front end

I used 3/16th on mine that thing is solid and the weight is not so bad i mounted it by myself just make sure that you go far enough back on the uni frame so you can use it to pull

X3 for the 3/16. But use 1/4" for the frame tie ins
