Default Bumper attachment?

Just got my custom built rear bumper and it is built with mount plates to match the factory holes that the original bumper mounted to. I am wondering if this method of mounting is strong enough. Is there a better way to mount such a bumper? Here is the bumper.

the link didnt load for me but if it only uses the four stock holes then no thats not strong enough if you are gonna use it for recovery or towing, you want a bumper that ties into the same place the hitch ties in on the unibody around the gas tank if you are putting any stress on it

yeah thats not enough for any kind of real pulling. here is the link to how i tied mine in you can see that it ties into the "frame" running along the side of the gas tank https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f58/fi...per-too-21169/

Hey, thanks for the link. I see exactly what you are talking about. I will work up some tie in braces. Thanks again for your input.

lol okay the xj doesnt have a traditional frame it has a unibody, a unibody is a "frame" thats integrated into the body and its all one piece, when you lay down under the jeep youll see what im talkin about, there are a bunch of holes on the "frame" those are the holes your bolts are gonna go thru, now you need something to tie those bolts into, thats where your nut strip comes into play. when you pull off your stock rear bumper you will see a small oval hole behind where the bumper mounts are. this is where your nut strips would be if you have them all ready, if you have a hitch then you have nut strips but im guessin you dont. so what you wanna do is take your angle grinder or sawzall and open up that oval so you can see in there and be able to reach a wrench in there, now for your nut strip and how to make one easily take some 2x3/16ths flat bar about four feet total, take two feet of that and slide it into the "frame" rail thru the holes you opened up, hold it in there so that it dont move and get under the jeep and spray paint back to the third hole to mark the holes for drilling, make sure the end of the strip is only an inch past that third hole, do the same for the other side too. now that you have your holes marked on your homemade strips drill them out to the appropriat size bolt you are using i think i used either 7/16th or 9/16th grade 8 of course, next weld some nuts on that nut strip so you dont have to fish a wrench or ratchet into the "frame" rail, and there is your homemade nut strip, and that fits inside the "frame" rail. if i missed something or something confused you please lemme kno cause when i get on a tangent i tend to miss things here and there. thanks
