Default Built myself a rear bumper

Well I've wanted a rear tire carrier for a while now i didn't reall want a off the shelf swing out and I wanted it to be a stinger . So I built my own.flip down For now I just bolted plates to my rear hatch with a slightly bigger tube so it will slide in and it's held with a pin but as you can see I also started my exo so once I get that going it will attach to that. All I need now is some pant and fab something up for my licensee plate and light

Looks awesome.

How's it tied into the rear and hatch (I know you said bolted, but just bolted through the sheet metal or is there plate on the back too)?

Really love the look of the fold down carriers, but I use my cargo area too much to mess with one every time.

So almost something like this it swings down and hooks at the top and at the side it looks like.

Good work man. A little worried about denting in the hatch if you back into something or someone rear ends you. Any annoyance when trying to access the cargo area?

I just saw the off-camber sticker, then that you are from yakima. I am Lead Foot (Kris Froehlich) on there.

Getting into the hatch is kinda hard but not to bad and for the joints I took my stock shackles and cut them in half

Great job. I like the Eco cage pics at the end too. Did you have access to a nice tubing bender or the cheap Harbor Freight bender?
