that is a great looking gas tank skid that will take a beating and still protect.
but, however, the mounting point is lacking terribly.
you've done a great job with the rest, so i would grab another piece of steel, bend the mounting lip, drill the mounting holes and fully plate in the sides.
i know it's not square, so you'll have to get creative, but from what i've seen so far, you totally have the skills.
do it right, and it should last forever.
