This is pointless cuz oem mods like putting a oem tire carrier on a 98 XJ is fab cuz I drilled and cut. Fab is technical as well as subjective. That's my 2cents. Hope people get it right, as well as not moving fab to oem or adv. tech.

Bump...and installing an OEM tire carrier belongs in OEM tech....my 2 cents.(you didnt build anything, just installed it, thats the point the mods are getting accross here.)

Not when you weld plates for re-enforcement, cut half your bumper off and fabricate braces for the carrier to fit a 32. That's fab my friend dictionary fab

If there is concern that some postings here are not " heavy duty" fabrication, why not create a new category called "modifications"???

Now its, you welded, cut off half your bumper, and made braces. If you would have mentioned that the first time, I would have zero argument it was fabrication.....You MADE something.(braces) Didnt mean to offend you if i did.

Not starting a 'whats the definition of fab?' war here....the mods already stated what they are looking for as far as fab threads.....And Im not one to argue with them!

BUMP.....
