Default anyone ever use or got millers spoolmate ????

i just invested in a new millermatic 140 with autoset...the old lincoln finally took a crap...i was looking at this spoolgun for it... jw if any of u guys have got one or used one....let me know what u think about it please so i wont waste my $ if they are junk

At work I use a millermatic 350p. It's got the regular gun for .35 solid wire and it has a spool on it for when we do aluminum. The spool is pretty mean but I prefer the regular gun. If I didnt use it for aluminum, I wouldn't use it at all. They work really good for doing super long welds, but with a 140 you won't be running any crazy welds. I'd stick with the regular miller gun, they are pretty nice!

I use the 30A all the time for aluminum.. Also works well for solid and flux core wires.. Since you have the 140, this will allow you to weld thinner aluminum, or stainlees without changing wire in the machine. And if you plan on welding aluminum, it won't work with the standard machine unless you use the spoolgun.
