Ok.....So here's the thought.
What about covering the back cargo windows with sheet metal or plastic sheet and painting it?
Anyone ever done this?
What are your thoughts on it?
I just made this pic using MS Paint so it isn't great but it gives an idea of what I mean.

Only because I want it to match the paint job. I am thinking about a camo pattern on my XJ and have not seen a vinyl that is non reflective.

What view? I barely look out those windows when backing up and never while driving forward. That's what mirrors are for.
Also, if you fabricate the metal to go over or in place of the glass then it surely is fabrication.

Well the picture I posted is a blatant fabrication in itself.
If it is in the wrong section, have it moved.

Tacitaledge, clearly you are rather new here. Go ahead and take the time to read the stickies. They will be wonders for you when it comes to using this sight. This topic belongs under 'Cherokee Chat' section more so. As for everyone else, just report the post. No need to rip into 'em. Report the post, simple as that.

Im only respondonding to this to gain a better unerstanding of the "FABRICATION" thread. It seems to me like this is a perfect section to post his question. Reason being fabrication by definition is not limited to roll cages bumpers ect. It is creating or manufacturing something. Obviously he is not manufacturing something but in my eyes its looks like he has an idea of FABRICATING something new. Whether it is is steel aluminum platistic shouldnt matter. In my opinion. Please correct me if im wrong so i better understand this section an dont post sonething "offensive" to anyone in the future.
