Cool beans! I figured you would see it, since it is so well put together.

Just wanted to be sure you were safe and all.

buy some hid kits from somewhere to put in those hella light housings and trash the halogen bulbs. my buddy did that and they are comparable to light force or vision x lights, they're ridiculous his 2 6 inch hids are brighter than my 4 8 inch halogens

the rack is nice too, good work it looks like itll last a while

Where did you get the gutter mounts? Did you use thinwall EMT or rigid conduit? (since you welded it I'm assuming you used rigid, EMT is too thin to weld and isn't very strong). I like it, I need one! Coach

Is thinwall emt really to thin to weld? I've been wanting to build one of these racks for a while and thought that I would use rigid emt for the base and floor, but then make the sides and top out of the thinwall stuff to try to keep the weight down a bit

I started building mine this weekend, was going off some drawings i did and it seems to be very strong so far. Its 1/2 emt conduit all around even the floor.

catch is, there is expanded steel throughout across the bottom to add support. with the half inch as light as it is, the weight of the expanded metal shouldnt really matter much.

I havent gotten it completed yet, but i did the frame cut out and welded up. Picking up the expanded metal and collected lights. btw what kind of Hella lights are you guys finding for $100 a pair? I thought that seemed a little high, I found Hellas for $60 a pair, and I got my KCs for $109 for the set. Maybe im just seeing the wrong lights lol

nice rack, almost the same idea i had with mine. love the look of a rounded emt rack
