Another DIY roof rack
50x50x6 used 1 inch tubing, for the frame and 1/2 inch for the bottom rails hope it helps !!

Rack looks good i cant wait to fab mine up, seeing all these nice looking racks is killing me lol.
Right now I just have 4 of the stack rack bars and it looks like crap compared to a nice rack.

looks good! why dont you weld it to the thule bars themselves? that is what i did.
Since the bars are thin and only meant to support 50lbs in the center of the bar when you weld it to the rack it strengthens the entire bar making them alot stronger. i have put 600lbs in my rack with no issues(mine are welded to the bars)

Family xj you should, it cost me about 70 bucks in metal and then just time and slot of measuring haha.
