I have a few sets of old van ladder racks. There are a few places online you can buy mounts. They are the one piece that is tricky to fab and I didn't want to spend the time. I have a few hours in the rack.

I picked up the high lift and mounts off a local guy for $40. The mounts u-bolt to the rack. They flip open and have wingnuts and locks. I will get pics tomorrow.

Please post closer picks of the gutter mounts...I'm also curious. Would these be available at a local hardware store?

Here are some pics. I herculined it. I am ordering the lights this coming week. As far as the mounts I cut them in half. They were tall with 4 holes to mount the crossbar for the ladder racks.

I like the hi-lift mounts. Looks like it would be pretty easy to fab a set up from a set of hinges. Could even incorporate normal Lock brackets to be able to put a standard size padlock on. *stores away in memory for later use*

Nice looking rack and the rig looks pretty sweet in and of itself.

Default Nice roof rack

Very cool rack. I was thinking about making one. I wasn't sure how to make it. But after looking at your roof rack and instruction I think I am ready. Thanks. Just have to find the time thats always the hard part.
