he's talking about the cut outs you did at each end of the 2x6 that you boxed back in, why did you do that? (second set of pics in first post)

I have a rust issue with my rockers, hope ya don't mind but I think I'm going to add to your idea and make it work with some extra metal to make up a new heavy rocker, looks good tho
