Default aluminum cylinder heads

Does anyone know if there are aftermarket aluminum heads for the I6?

Why was this posted in the fabrication section?

Moving to chat.

And, yes, but they are expensive. A thread was started recently about just this very thing. Please use the search button.

The only thing to gain with a aluminum head is less weight... So i see no point in it, unless your building a procharged I6 for the strip..

+1 for Hesco.

-1 for the price to supposed power gain. For the 2k they want, just spray it everywhere you go, even the super market.

id like one for my 4.7

but i just dropped $3,100 on the engine for forged pistons and rods and my stroker crank and my cam.

I am using a stock head with 40 hrs of porting done to it. major gains!! i cant see spending the money on a $2k aluminum head when my iron can do the same thing. actually probably better than the aftermarket ones!

If there was one in the $1k range id be interested. but until then ill have my buddy port em, i can get 5 heads ported for $1k
