That seems to happen a lot. I just don't get it. This is a family forum! Why would anyone poke fun at anyone? <--- Sad Face.

Huh.. Not bad man! Clever goin into the stock bumper, kinda exoskeletonesque.. Haha.. Don't be too bummed by the comments.. I was a bit surprised by the cynicism when I was new to CF. seemed odd, but it reflects more on them that they can't be constructive in their criticisms!! Haha.
Any other homebrews?

Well, idk, poking fun is ok with me, as long as the person knows your joking! I always try to be very clear that it was just a joke! And if enough people have already cracked wise, then it does get old.. Always tough to convey emotion thru my iPhone...

"Every time I have seen a forum where the enforced atmosphere is "evrywun be nice and say nice things about each other " I have seen it get taken over by simpletons, idiots, dumba**es, ignorant gravynecked hicks and total retards all saying nice things about each other's terrible ideas and fab work. That is why I stay off *************."

I just asked him a question that he won't answer. Probably because he's moved on to another forum that doesn't have critisizm. A pointless forum. If you want to post up pictures for other people to look at and not comment on then he should start a Cardomain page and disable the comments.

O I know.. I was just sayin that jokes are ok, but it's only funny if somebody laughs, and nobody was laughing. So I hear ya- people can be mean. It sucks. But like I also said: it reflects a hell of a lot on them! Peace!

I was laughing.

But, I also tried to ask a serious question. I love it when people get worked up about the internet.

A for effort

F cause it sucks.

Your idea is in the right place, however you just started cutting with the first draft. Ideas like these need to be feed and nurtured to a great design.

Hey at least JY bumpers and only $25.00

obviously just for looks which is just fine. I would definitely throw some paint on there at the very least. I would also tell ya to keep thinking and plan something a bit more structural/useful because while yes it was a cheap build its also only held on by screws/self tappers if i noticed correctly. They will loosen over time and your neat-o bar will either slop around or fall off.

for all the haters of conduit... i did a cheap-o mockery of a prerunner bar for my friends beater x-90 we were beating on for some time and it would actually take down some good 1-2" trees and still hold up.

if you have a welder and some time. i did a little light bar for the front of one of my old jeep and made it out of an old front sway bar from an xj... held up pretty well and actually the bumper brackets end up bending before the bar i made did when i was running smaller trees down on the trails.
