I'd like to start off by saying, let's all give a big thanks and thumbs up to Lowrange2. Between here, his own fb group and the our own fb group, he has put countless hours and effort in all for you guys. There are even CF calendars with your rigs, available through him. Thank you Lowrange2 for all you did and do for us at CF.
Now on to buisness, COTM traffic here has slowed down a little, and Lowrange2 has his plate a little full. So, for starters if you haven't already, please go join our official fb page CherokeeForum and also follow our IG page @the_real_cherokeeforum.
On the IG page every month, we announce and post up the first 12-15 members who DM a pic of their rig. We leave them up for one week (the last week of the month). On the first of the new month, the person with the most likes, gets to be the COTM and profile pic of the IG page for a month. No rules (except only winning once a year), no categories, no restrictions, just good, clean fun for bragging rights. All are welcomed, from stock to wild.
What does the IG COTM have to do with this one you ask? Simple, I will also post up and announce the winner HERE and on our fb page as well. So if you win, you get to be showcased three times for folks to see.
Our Feb submission pics are already up on Instagram so please go vote for your favorites and we look forward to seeing you enter next month.

We've had both those platforms for quite a while. But all this is just for fun and to show a few Jeeps off, that's all. Fb and IG are the same company.

I found face plant to be a real time waster. And all the notifications very annoying, so I stay off the phone social media.

CF is here for you, the members, in three forms. We just try to make it enjoyable for all. If you have suggestions, send them to us to review and discuss, just like we did with catalytic converter restrictions.

Noted my friend. If people would show a little interest here, or even better, tell us what they would like to see for COTM (rules, entry, etc..), PLEASE feel free to post up.

Just my 2 cents on this. The way you have it set up on the home page to me is not intuitive. If you start a thread COTM and have members post directly to that I think you would get more entries. Took me awhile to get the hang of it. But maybe I haven't made it into the 21st century yet
My original post is just to present some people's rigs until we can all agree on how to proceed with it here. Some eye candy is better than none.

Thanks for the shout-out. Between starting a new business and working a full time job this just kept getting neglected.
I think moving to FB and IG is for the best as that's where 90% of traffic is since forums are on the decline.

Chiming in on a zombie thread here, I know... but just to input my 2 cents on it....
Andy, you're the man for keeping up with it all these years. I get that not a lot of people are on Socialist Medias, but we were practically having to BEG for entries by the time I took my hiatus from CF. I had a HUGE promotional line about it in my signature just to be annoying enough to try and gain more attention. Didn't work. So as far as the move to IG and FB well, seems like a pretty logical step.

We still have monthly COTM contest, but that is maily hosted on the IG (Instagram) site, as that site is geared more twords photo sharing. If you have Instagram, you can find us @the_real_cherokeeforum
We end up using each months winner as the "face" of CF's social media for the month. (You become the profile pic/avatar)
