I had the nitro stampede a couple years back and for my birthday last year i got the 1/16 brushless erevo and I've had to replace gears, steering boxes, entire front end, shocks, esc, and more... All of those things were replaced multiple times. And the A holes at customer service weren't very generous when i told them all the issues.... They tell me I'm to rough, but the fact of the matter is I'm not. Traxxas is just cheap Chinese plastic **** and I'm never buying any of there products again.

Ive never had either of those. The only thing i broke on my e-revo(the 1/10) was some ring and pinions. And the rustler hit a palm tree at a good 35+ and only broke a steering knuckle. Ive heard that the mini revo is easy to break though.

Does anyone know if you can wire an esc to a toy grade rc with the toy circuit board? I want to get one for my maisto crawler

So far I'm very impressed with my $32 1/12 maisto, it's easy to mod and it's my first crawler. I'd recommend it, only downside that can't be upgraded i believe is the shocks

You can get it at walmart, and here's the inside i got from google about converting it to work with lipos instead of AAs and the original body, my body came off of an old tamiya monster beetle rc

Esc is electronic speed control, right? What would it do?

Yes, it makes it so you can go at things at a slow speed and brake (more control), with out it this thing is basically full throttle and roll down just like any other toy grade rc.

Ahhh ok, i have an esc off a Traxxas nitro stampede if you need it. Probably just have to pay for shipping. It's yours if you want it tho. I think the nitro models come with one lol I'm parting it out

Hey thanks for the offer, but the motors on the stampede are brushless and the maisto is brushed which makes the esc different, it's ok though there's one i'm looking at on ebay for $10 with free shipping
