I want it, but im planning on putting a semi "built" motor under the hood and his is stock and old. We looked for probably 5 months before we found my 72 and we drove two and a half hours to get it and then drove it home. It served as an electric companies line truck back in the eighties (as we were told) and then the old guy who drove it bought it with a blown motor; put a new goodwrench crate 350 in it and drove it for several years then paased it down to a guy who did some of the work but goobered up the wiring and he had it until until 08ish where a guy who was a sports finatic bought it because he broke his leg but it was too much truck for him so he sold it. It needs the majority of the wiring redonebecause of how cut up and patched the current harness is, I hope to maybe find a used aftermarket setup to put in it. The truck is what really got me into working with cars and it will be a huge project that ik will redo in conjunction with classes that I am about to start at college where I will study to be a mechanic. Did I mention that the body is rusted out? Because it is......very badly, but the frame is solid and that's what really matters.

See the boards to the right.... and to get them back up i hook a come along to the front bumper under the atv and up to the cross board. and crank it up, works like a charm.

Thats cool man. I got my "other" wheeler as a project. I didn't have to travel as far as you did though but some things are worth it! so what school are you going to for auto tech? If you enjoy it, should be a good time!
