okay so i have the option to get an old ******* truck and the frame of it is kinda rusty n tore up, i was wondering what kinda frame should i put under it? iv thought about a blazer frame with chevy running gear( gonna put a chevy motor in it) unless there is another frame/motor/running gear that would be a better combo, let me know what you guys think? comments and any feedback would be great! thanks guys

 

Maybe the best thing to do if you dont want to modify the donor frame/drivetrain is measure the wheelbase and go to a salvage yard and compare it to potential donors.
I dont know the wheelbase if whatever you are buying but maybe a blazer like mentioned or SWB, chevy is a good choice to stick with. Like chevy's you might want to stick with something common or popular for future parts needs. BTW it is ******

 

Wait till you get it and do tons of measuring, then take your measurements to the jy and look through what they have till you find the best match.
