Haha thanks! It was an old beater my Dad had we kept for hauling firewood mostly. I loaded and unloaded a lot of lumber but when I could see over the dash and reach the pedals at the same time I got taught to drive it.
it had been our farm vehicle for ten or so years then it became my DD.77 ford halfton 4 speed with 410s 4x4 and a gutless 351m that carried low to no oil pressure but wouldnt die. top speed down hill with wind blowing at your back 82 mph. and it was a scarey 82 with gearbox slop like no other. but at 16 it was priceless.

First car I drove was my grandfather's '48 Buick with a straight 8 and 3 speed on the column. It was the work horse/beater at his gas station. I guess I was about 10 at the time.
