Thinking of a new project.
I would use a full size truck and do a 12 valve swap.The 4bt is a little harder to find and pricey compared to the 12 valve.If i had to swap a s10 i would use a ls just because it will bolt in and im lazy.

Don't have a jeep anymore so I don't really need a tow rig tho id love to have a full size truck but still not the mpgs i want being I drive at least 110-120 miles a day
A friend of mine has a 96 f250 4x4 utility bed work truck,He swapped in a 4bt with some light mods hes getting 26mpg where the 351w he took out got like 12ish.I drove it before and after it has about the same power many a little more now.on a s10 the 6.2/6.5 diesel is a bolt in but the 6.2 is kinda gutless and the 6.5 has a turbo but has no aftermarket.
