Did the one at the swap meet have the diesel? Any idea who made the engine?

Hmm never seen it in the jeeps had a similar set up in my explorer v6 single overhead cam k&n cai magnaflow exhaust and a cheap as programmer one of those online $70 ones that thing would get after it.

Im not sure of the years. Its a CJ-10A tug. The AF used them during the 80s up to the mid 90s for pulling aircraft generator sets and maint. stands. Our AMMO guys used them to pull bomb trailers too. They are stump pullers. A fully loaded bomb trailer can weigh as much 17,000 pounds and they usually are pulled in tandem (2 trailers). They are geared for max pulling power as they top out at just at 15MPH. And yes, they are diesel. 4 cylinders I believe. I hear its a Nissan diesel.
