saturn ion strut bolt help
well gonna tackle my first set of struts on my girlfriend 04 ion tomorrow. i have the sturts, the strut mounts and a spring compressor. went out to spray some pb on the nuts and bolts and discovered the two bolts that mount the lower end of the struts are very oddly shaped like half rounded and half squared. is that a bolt i will need a special tool for or are they studs and just the nut comes off?
thanks in advance. any hints would be cool too im doing this with a haynes book and the funny picture instruction that came with the struts.
